The concrete objectives of the project CC4Forest are:
-To increase awareness among adult learners, staff of adult education organisations / institutions, and small business owners about the role of forest management in climate change mitigation and adaptation.
-To equip the target group with practical guidance and tools to implement sustainable forest management practices that can contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation.
-To enhance the competence, knowledge, and skills of the target group in sustainable forest management practices, thereby promoting the availability of high-quality, flexible, and recognised learning opportunities for adults.
-To foster the development of local learning centers and innovative learning spaces that can facilitate the adoption of sustainable forest management practices by adult learners and small business owners.

The CC4Forest project is motivated by the urgent need to address the challenges of climate change and sustainable forest management in the EU. By providing high-quality, flexible and recognised adult education, the project aims to improve the knowledge, skills, and engagement of adults in tackling these challenges and contribute to the EU’s priorities of environmental protection and high-quality education for all.
